Everyday Heroes

We see heroes everyday in all walks of life but have you actual met one that you know?  We have the soldiers who come home from war everyday of the week they automatically have that status because of what they do to keep up safe and to get our country free.   What about the girl down the street who helps the little old lady across the street because she is afraid that she might fall down because she has wobbly legs.  Or even the boy who hits a home run for his dad because he passed away and he no longer sees him.   Of course most people would not classify them as heroes but what is it that makes a hero?

According to Merriam-Webster dictionary a hero is a person who is admired for great and brave acts or fine qualities. That definition could fit people from a individual who has made great strives within his/her chosen field or even in a charitable business.  Persons who work for a non-profit organization give there time, abilities, and most of all their hearts.  I know such a person who works for this type of organization and she has given a lot of time, she does fund raisers to keep the organization flooding up above water to pay the bills which we all have to pay such as: electrical, telephone, gas and all the other things which a company needs.

I think everyday heroes are born and keep under wraps until they are needed to show off their stuff.  But soldiers will always be heroes because they do so much for their families and their country I know a lot of you will disagree with me but everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine.  Sometimes I have been wrong and I would admit it but in this case I know that I’m not.
